What Kids Learn

Yogie Land isn’t just fun. It’s foundational.

Every class is designed around core early learning principles. Whether your child is just starting to crawl or heading off to kindergarten, they’ll be building real skills in a way that feels like play.

Movement & Coordination
Through yoga poses, guided stretches, and imaginative movement, children improve balance, spatial awareness, and gross motor skills in a low-pressure environment.

Social & Emotional Development
Puppetry plays a central role. Yogie the Dogie and friends model everyday emotions and calming strategies. Children learn to recognize feelings, practice breathing techniques, and connect with characters who feel safe and familiar. Some children respond with words or movement. Others simply watch. All are learning.

Focus & Flexible Thinking
Each class includes structured sequences like the Yogie Dogie Flow, where kids follow a series of poses and cues. This supports memory, early executive function, and self-regulation—all through rhythm, repetition, and story.

Language & Listening Skills
Songs, story prompts, and open-ended questions encourage vocabulary growth, communication, and the ability to follow multi-step directions. Children learn to express themselves and understand others.

Math & Cognitive Skills
We introduce colors, numbers, and patterns through songs and class visuals. From sequencing poses to identifying shapes and counting characters, children are absorbing early math concepts in natural, hands-on ways.

With a world of music, movement, puppetry, and play, Yogie Land helps children feel safe, engaged, and ready to grow—on their own terms, in their own time.
